Goal 8 - Economic Growth and decent workfor the work being done under SKF's responsible sourcing programme to ensure safety and decent work for people at our suppliers according to UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Right.
SKF's global OHSAS 18001 management system covers 112 facilities in 35 countries
Since SKF started to monitor occupational accident rate in the 90s accoring to the OHSA method, the rate has dropped by over 90% to under 1 work related accident per 200,000 worked hours.
There is still a lot of hard work to be done thought to reach the Zero accidents target and eliminate work related accidents.
The SKF Code of Conduct is based on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. In our Annual Report, we report on the progress, non-conformance cases found and actions taken to improve.
