Bob Taylor is currently engaged with selected industry clients on implementing an integrated approach to Manufacturing Excellence – with a strong focus on effective Reliability.
He retired from Neucel Specialty Cellulose in 2012 where he served as CEO since 2007. From 2006 to 2007 he was VP of Operations for the Building Products Division of Armstrong World Industries – responsible for all operations for their seven US Plants. He was VP of Manufacturing for Sappi Fine Papers North America (SFPNA) from 2003 until 2006 where in addition to having responsibility for operations at all facilities of SFPNA, he was also responsible for Wood Procurement, Pulp Sales, Corporate Engineering, and Capital Planning. Prior to that Bob served in several manufacturing leadership positions encompassing several different pulp & paper businesses during a twenty-three year career with International Paper Company, finishing as Vice President of Manufacturing Systems for the Printing and Communications Division in 2003.
Bob served several years on the national executive committee of PIMA as well as the PIMA Board of Di-rectors. He has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, Canada.
