Screw presses

Avoid premature wear and improve reliability

Screw presses must perform a wide variety of liquid-solid separation or dewatering processes. Keeping the screw press running as reliably and efficiently as possible is critical to the thickening of the pulp and knots and rejects dewatering.

Running at low speeds with loads that can range from medium to high, screw presses can experience premature wear between the spherical thrust roller bearing housing washer and its seat in the housing. This is frequently due to unwanted rotating load on the spherical roller bearing outer ring located in the same housing.
