SKF has been awarded the Excellent Supplier of 2009 by Goldwind, one of the largest companies of wind energy equipment. The award was received during Goldwind's Annual Supplier Conference. About 60 of Goldwind's major suppliers attended the conference, among which three received the Excellent Supplier Award.
- SKF received this award for the company's commitment to providing us with world-class products and technical support as well as offering integrated R&D solutions as a leading supplier in this industry, says Guo Jian, President of Goldwind.
- This is an important recognition of the technologies and services that we offer to the market. It also shows SKF's long term commitment to supporting our customers by providing high quality products and solutions, as well as contributing to a sustainable community, says Claes Pollnow, President SKF China.
Goldwind and SKF have worked closely together for many years and signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement in 2007 with the ambition to strengthen the cooperation even further. During the last couple of years, this has resulted in advanced technology being developed at the same time as the demand for the clean energy provided by wind turbines rapidly has increased in China.
