Minimum load

For additional
(→ Requisite minimum load)

Perform calculations

The weight of the components supported by the bearing, together with external forces, generally exceed the requisite minimum load. If this is not the case, the bearing must be subjected to an additional radial load.
Equivalent dynamic bearing load

For additional
(→ Equivalent dynamic bearing load)
Non-locating bearings

P = Fr

Locating bearings

Fa/Fr ≤ e → P = Fr

Fa/Fr > e → P = 0,92 Fr + Y Fa

Fa must not exceed 0,5 Fr.

(→ Equivalent static bearing load)
