SKF Code of conduct for Agents and other Intermediaries representing, or acting on behalf of, SKF
Agents and intermediaries are third parties engaged to provide services for or on behalf of SKF or to represent SKF interests. This may include business consultants, sales agents, third parties retained in relation to government business or actions, introducers, facilitators, lawyers and other professional advisors and third parties who provide services for or on behalf of SKF in any capacity.
Critically, SKF can be held liable for acts of bribery by associated persons. A person “associated” with a commercial organization as set out in section 8 of the Bribery Act 2010 includes any person performing services for a commercial organization.
Therefore, a specific Code of conduct for Agents and other Intermediaries has been launched.
