A mechanical engineer from BITS Pilani and an Advanced Management graduate from Harvard Business School, Shishir is Managing Director of SKF India Ltd. He is also the Country Head for SKF group’s subsidiaries in India. Shishir worked in various capacities with Thermax Limited for first 26 years of his career prior to joining SKF in December 2009.
SKF is listed amongst India’s 50 most admired companies in 2012 and 2014 by Fortune. In 2013 Businessworld and Business Today listed Shishir amongst India’s most valuable CEOs and top 100 CEOs in India respectively.
He is currently the elected Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Pune chapter and serves as an independent member of board for SBI Funds Pvt Ltd (SBI Mutual Fund). He is President of Ball and Rolling Bearing Manufacturer’s Association (BRBMA) and has served as Chairman of Process Plant and Machinery Association of India (PPMAI) from 2007 to 2009. Shishir is also a founding director for Alliance for Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE).
Shishir lives with his family in Pune.
Anjali Byce is the Director Human Resources at SKF India. She has made significant contributions including multiple Business Partnership programs, implementation of a culture based HR Strategy, capability building, Six Sigma and diversity initiatives. She has also championed multiple change management programs.
Her experience in HR spans across manufacturing, insurance and R&D companies, as well as start-up and turn-around companies. She has worked with Tata Motors, Allianz Bajaj Life Insurance Co, Cummins and Thermax. In her role, she has handled multiple functional excellence areas including strategic HR, industrial relations, organizational development, learning and development, corporate responsibility, health, safety and environment and administration.
Anjali Byce has been named as one of the 100 Most talented Global HR Leaders by CHRO Asia. She currently co-chairs the CII HR & IR Council in Pune and held the position as President of NHRD's Pune chapter.
Anjali holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Psychology from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi and a Masters degree in Applied Psychology from Delhi University where she did her thesis on Psychological Contracting.
She obtained her PGDHRD from Symbiosis Centre for HRD – Pune and has an Advanced Certificate in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).
Arun Shivaram is the Director, Global Technical Center-India (GTCI) and a member of the Board of SKF Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. He joined SKF in Oct 2010 and is currently based in Bangalore. In his role, Arun is responsible for overseeing the technology development and innovation in GTCI for global as well as local requirements. Over the last four years, under Arun's leadership, GTCI has grown as a Knowledge Engineering Centre. GTCI is now a partner to the internal stakeholders in providing solutions across SKF’s five platform offerings under one roof, to its customers globally and in India.
Prior to joining to SKF, Arun was associated with Applied Materials India Ltd., TCS, GM Technical Center and Larsen & Toubro. In his previous organizations he has held various positions such as Associate Director, Off-Highway vertical Head, Automotive vertical Head and Engineering Manager. He has developed, coached, mentored and managed large teams involved in system design, product design/development for the global off-highway and automotive industries.
Arun holds a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a Master's degree in CAD/CAM systems & Robotics from University of Toledo, Ohio State, USA. Arun is passionate about mentoring young engineers and encouraging them to think innovatively.

Chandramowli Srinivasan is the Finance Director at SKF India Ltd., he is responsible for the overall finance, accounting and reporting, treasury, taxation, legal and corporate governance functions of the company. Chandramowli has been associated with the SKF group since 1991 and is currently based in Pune.
During his tenure of 18 years he has held various senior management positions at SKF, his journey began as a Controller and Manager of Costing and Accounts. In 1997, he was appointed as the Internal Auditor and the Manufacturing Controller for the Asia Pacific Division, following which he assumed the role of a Business Controller and Director of SKF, Indonesia, in 1999. Before taking his current office he worked as a Factory Manager at the Bangalore plant for SKF India Ltd, for close to 3 years.
Prior to joining SKF, Chandramowli was associated with AF Ferguson and Co and KSB
Chandramowli believes in setting high standards for himself; during his 20 years as a chartered accountant he has gained invaluable experience specializing in Financial Management and Business Controlling. In his leisure time Chandramowli pursues his passion for sports
Harsha Kadam is currently the Director of Automotive Market- OE Business, SKF India, His responsibility encompasses Automotive Sales to all major OEMs in India across segments- Cars, Trucks, Tractors, Two-Wheelers and Powertrain.
Having worked with SKF since 1990, Harsha holds rich experience in Manufacturing, Sales, Application and Product Development. In his previous role at SKF India he was the Director of Two Wheeler and Powertrain Business for SKF in India and the Director of the Global 2 Wheeler Business..
After graduating from the University of Bangalore with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Harsha went on to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Finance.
Harsha is a member of the Bangalore Chamber of Industries and Commerce. He is an avid traveler and passionately pursues his hobbies of paragliding and aeromodelling. Taking his love for music a step further, he is learning to play the guitar and saxophone.
Manohar R is the Director of Purchase Department at SKF India. In his current role Manohar is responsible for managing purchases for all the 6 plants in India with primary focus on ensuring and steering material cost reduction/control, supplier development in line with GPU process guidelines.
R Manohar started his career as a project engineer with L&T India. He was associated with L&T India for over 16 years, shouldering responsibilities in area of project engineering & design and later shifted to purchase function. Then he was associated with Delphi Automotive Systems for 12 years in various capacities both in India and China.
Manohar began his journey with SKF in 2008 and today he is an integral part of SKF India showcasing his expertise in purchasing and supply chain activities.
Manohar is a mechanical engineer who also holds a post graduation degree in Industrial metallurgy from IIT Madras and ICWA from Kolkatta.
In his leisure time he loves to be a part of various sports and social service activities. Long distance running and playing badminton are his hobbies.
In his current role Mattias is the Regional Head of SKF Logistics & Demand Chain for Asia. Mattias is responsible for ensuring common processes, creating synergies and expanding logistics within the Asian regions. He is also responsible to further develop the existing logistics units with a focus on customer satisfaction, operational excellence and broaden regional customer base.
Mattias began his association with SKF in the year 1999 as a student working on a thesis project and has continued to grow in different capacities with the organization. He then joined SKF India in the year 2012 as the General Manager of SKF Logistics Services.
In his leisure time he enjoys sports of all kind and has also participated in the Gothenburg Half marathon 12 times.
Director , Business Excellence , Quality and Sustainability
Shrikant is Director Business Excellence, Quality & Sustainability. In his present role, Shrikant is
responsible for implementing business excellence in all parts of Business including TPM , Six Sigma , Quality assurance , safety and sustainability and community care initiatives by SKF in India .
In his illustrious career of 32 years, Shrikant has served various reputed organizations like Crompton Greaves, NRB bearings.
In his long standing tenure in SKF, he has worked in various capacities like Channel Manager , ABU Factory Manager. He became Vice President and Factory Manager, after Pune Factory unification in 2009. His major achievements include turnaround of ABU manufacturing to profitability, Innovations
in Business and manufacturing excellence, Pune factory transformations, technology transfers and product quality upgrades to global levels . He has undertaken benchmarking visits to Toyota Japan, France and Scania , SKF Brazil etc and is active in practicing the best practices at Pune with some landmark initiatives like skill centre etc.
Shrikant has won many awards for leadership excellence and has significantly contributed in gaining prestigious recognitions for the SKF Pune factory, like SKF Automotive Division Global bench marking award for productivity , “ Manager of the year 2009” in SKF Premium Club Awards, “National Productivity Championship award” in 2006, Best six sigma project award at Symbiosis International six sigma competition on national level ,and Best Kaizen award from Toyota etc .
Shrikant holds a B.E (Production) degree with distinction from V.J.T.I , Mumbai University and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer applications from Marathwada University along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. Shrikant shares an immense passion for literature, arts and is deeply interested in social activities for community development.
Sandip has been a very strong pillar of the company as he handled various leadership roles for more than 3 decades. His professional career commenced in 1978 in Industrial Engineering department of Usha Martin. In 1983 he joined Grindwell Norton (GNO). He shouldered several responsibilities during the evolution of the business. The Lubrication division at GNO became a 50:50 joint venture between GNO and Lincoln GmbH in 1993 and Lincoln Helios (LHI) came into being.
Sandip has witnessed much transformation over the years and was instrumental in shaping up a very strong growth phase of LHI, achieving a milestone of crossing a billion rupee sales mark under his strong leadership. In 2007, it became a 100% Lincoln GmbH owned unit. With the worldwide acquisition of Lincoln by SKF in 2010, it is now an SKF group company.
Sandip has a rich experience in Business development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance and all the related fields. He has ensured that the company sustains market leadership position despite several challenges faced over time. He strongly pushed for indigenization with very active collaboration with overseas partners, SAP implementation and also guided the integration projects. He is a perfectionist yet wants tasks to be accomplished at the speed of thought, always looking for avenues of continual learning and improvement possibilities.
He is a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur and PGDM from IIM, Ahmedabad. His family includes wife Kabita and son Subhadip. Reading is his main interest during his spare time.
