Radial stiffness depends on the elastic deformation (deflection) of the bearing under load and can be expressed as a ratio of load to deflection. However, since the relationship between deflection and load is not linear, only guideline values can be provided (→ product tables: single row bearings and double row bearings). These values apply to moderately preloaded, mounted bearings under static conditions, subjected to moderate loads.
