Inlet valve lubrication systems
For large, four-stroke engines with bore diameters ranging from 250–640 mm (9–25 in), inlet valve seat lubrication is preferred to reduce the wear of valve seats caused by extremely high stress, and additional cylinder lubrication might be an option. SKF systems provide lubrication of these critical areas, significantly extending operating life.
The system can be designed for lubrication of cylinder walls. These systems consist of the following components: UD pump unit, SKF MultiFlex piston pumps and SP/G pumps.
Designed as a scalable, modular system, the lubrication solution is robust and virtually maintenance-free.
