Save your customer trouble: change the crankshaft damper in time!
Excessive engine vibration damages and shortens its service life…which is where the crankshaft damper’s job begins! Its function is to dampen the torsional vibrations of the crankshaft filtering the low frequency vibrations generated (in particular by diesel engines), enabling a longer life span of the auxiliary system.
- Avoid premature failure of the auxiliary or timing systems by replacing the crankshaft damper.
- Following OE specifications, all SKF crankshaft dampers include a layer of rubber to filter engine vibrations.
- More than 80 kits available.
