Shaft alignment tool TKSA 80

The advanced tool to increase your alignment knowledge

SKF Shaft Alignment Tool TKSA 80

For effective machine alignment, the measurement is only 5% of the process. Users often find themselves encountering difficulties by skipping some important alignment steps. The TKSA 80 system has a complete built-in alignment process to increase users’ knowledge of alignment . The programme takes users from preparation and evaluation all the way through to correction and finally a report of the result.

With a 7 inch screen, the TKSA 80 can accommodate large machine train alignment jobs. It offers a unique database to store the machine set-up data for future use, visual inspections on oil leakage, oil level, foundation bolt status and wear indications.

Features and benefits

SKF Shaft Alignment Tool TKSA 80
SKF Shaft Alignment Tool TKSA 80
  • Seven inch coloured screen with touch screen and keypad
  • Rugged design for use in harsh environments-1.2 meter drop test to Military standard
  • Built-in wireless technology
  • “Swap view”- enables graphics to be swapped from one side of machine to the other to accommodate the user’s position
  • Full template database- an extensive database where wide range of alignment relevant information of machine can be stored. Users can pick and chose components from the database to create machine trains with preferred colour.
  • Energy efficiency indicator- indicates the estimated extra energy consumption due to misalignment
  • Horizontal and vertical alignment
  • Visual inspections on oil leakage, oil level, foundation bolt status and wear indications.
  • Large machine train alignment-align up to 5 machines in a line
  • Run-out check- the system reminds users to perform a simple measurement to look for bend shafts.
  • Alignment target
