SKF in Singapore

SKF has a long history in Asia Pacific. Individual sales companies were established as far back as 1920 and SKF South East Asia & Pacific was inaugurated in Singapore in 1973. Three years later, Singapore became SKF’s regional hub with the opening of an area head office responsible for Asia Pacific operations. In August 2000, the company moved to a purpose-built state-of-the-art warehouse and office facility close to the airport.

Headquartered in Singapore, SKF Asia Pacific is responsible for sales to the industrial aftermarket of bearings and related products in an area stretching from the Indian sub-continent to Korea and from China to New Zealand.

The area also supports industrial customers with service solutions, predictive and preventive maintenance, condition monitoring and performance-based contracts.

Industrial Division
Asia Pacific provides the Industrial Division’s OEM customers in Asia, with innovative product solutions as well as associated tailored services, enabling customers to manufacture equipment to advanced designs.

Automotive Division
Vehicle Parts Singapore, also located in the Singapore facility, is the product center for Vehicle Service Market Business Unit and is responsible for developing and packing kits for Asian vehicles.
