Netherlands: Scholarship programme
SKF Netherlands supports the Brede School Academy scholarship programme
The Brede School Academy (BSA) in Utrecht provides an intensive after school program for selected, promising and motivated children from elementary schools in depressed districts. In addition to their regular teaching program these children go twice a week to the BSA. For several years SKF the Netherlands is supporting the BSA in financing the necessary reading materials. For this year SKF is introducing a special scholarship for guiding six selected pupils to university.
In addition, SKF has started to support a scholarship programme in which six selected pupils from the BSA will be coached during their high school, so they develop independent learning and are able to go to university. The dedicated coach helps the kids in whatever the challenge is.
With this scholarship SKF seeks to stimulate the promising, talented ones to be an example how to build your own career.
