Applicable for SKF Regional Training

Note: SKF reserves the right to change course schedules, discontinue courses, modify course content, limit class size and cancel courses as it deems necessary without penalty. SKF reserves the right to cancel the training in case the minimum number of participants is not met. Please wait with your travel plans until you receive a confirmation from SKF. Payment conditions can vary per country.



For course registration please contact your local SKF office. You can find the contact details on the Training Calendar.


Registration is binding. If you are prevented from attending the course, someone else from your company can take your seat. The following terms are stipulated if you have to withdraw your registration:

1. Upon cancellation 4-2 weeks prior course start 50% of the course fee will be debited.

2. Upon cancellation 1 week prior course start or later 100% of the course fee will be debited.


Once we receive your application we will send a confirmation. We will inform you immediately if the course is fully booked and we will discuss alternative solutions with you.


In our normal practices SKF will inform you about the course location along with the schedule a couple of weeks before the course start.


Accommodation is not included in the course fee. The course delegate is responsible for his/her hotel-reservation – please talk to your local SKF representative since alternative solutions may be available.

Call off

In case there are too few delegates SKF reserves the right to call off the training. You will be informed about the cancellation 14 days prior the course start and offered another course date. This is also valid if the instructor suddenly falls ill and a substitute is not available. SKF is not responsible for any costs for the course delegate caused by the cancellation.

Course fee

Please contact your local SKF office for prices and payment terms. In some countries pro-forma invoice may be raised after confirmation of candidature to facilitate process for training payment. 

Course at customers' premises

Training at your premises is available upon request and if the minimum number of delegates is met. The customer is responsible for an appropriate course facility equipped with computer projector, if nothing else has been mutually agreed in writing.


General and optional Course Certifications

·   The delegate will get an SKF certification if he/she passes the examination.


If you are interested in acquiring external certification special arrangements have to be settled prior course start and you have to pass the exam. Please inform your local SKF representative in advance.

These are the external certifications that we currently offer:

·   The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) Certified Vibration Analysis Category I and II certification.

·   The International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) certification.

·   Certification in The Technical Associates of Charlotte (TA) is offered. The certification is in accordance with ASNTrecommended Practice No.SNT-TC-1A (2006) and in compliance with ISO 184 36-2 standard.

·   The TAFE certification is available only in Australia.

Force majeure

SKF is not responsible if the course operations are stopped by a government's action, strike, blockade, boycott, lockout, storm, war-incidents or other similar circumstances which are beyond SKF's control.
