Twin screw process gas compressors
Caustic conditions for bearings

As with all twin screw designs, the bearings within must support rotor loads and help ensure accurate radial and axial rotor positioning – reliably, with low friction and low noise. Given that the gas that emerges from the wellhead can be caustic, twin screw gas compressor bearings must also be able to handle corrosive gases.
