SKF sensor bearing units

A range of operations in one ready-to-mount unit

SKF sensor bearing units
Incorporating a shielded sensor and versatile deep groove ball bearing, SKF Sensor bearing units are mechatronic machine components. Sensor body, impulse ring and bearing are mechanically attached to each other, forming an integral, ready-to-mount unit – tight tolerances are kept within the bearing.

Integrated design helps reduce development times, as well as manufacturing and assembly costs. Robust components and materials also enable down-sizing, weight reduction, increased safety and reliability and more. SKF sensor bearings measure a range of operations, including:

  • Number of revolutions
  • Speed
  • Direction of rotation
  • Relative position
  • Acceleration
  • Deceleration
