A demonstration

Most applications that require vibration measurement are subject to many variables; start up, shut down, speed up, slow down, load increase and load decrease.  All of these cause “non-stationery data” or “transients” which require a slightly different approach in order to capture the data at the appropriate time. This session provides an introduction to the capture and analysis of non-stationery data. The course will show to identify which vibrations are related to the rotor and which are related to the structure.
