SKF offers OE quality aftermarket solutions for the SUV/Crossover segment in Europe

2013 October 21, 12:00 Europe

Gothenburg, 21 October, 2013: SKF announced today that in response to the increasing SUV/Crossover vehicle offer in Europe, the SKF vehicle aftermarket has developed a broad product range for these specific vehicles, covering both popular and recent European and Asian car models such as the Chevrolet Trax, Honda CR-V IV, Opel Mokka, Peugeot 2008, Renault Captur and the Toyota RAV 4.

As similar to most vehicle markets, SUV models are now gaining popularity in Europe - since the year 2000 the segment has grown five times as fast as the complete passenger car market.

“Almost 25 per cent of premium vehicles sold in 2012 in Europe was a crossover or SUV, and the category continues to grow. In our constant effort to meet market needs while acting as a one-stop shop supplier, we have developed a complete product portfolio covering the wheel end, timing, auxiliary, suspension and driveline systems for a wide range of these vehicles” says Michael Bohm, head of product management and business development for the SKF vehicle aftermarket.
