Aerospace – Clevedon
Formally known as AMPEP, Aerospace – Clevedon, is situation in Clevedon, North Somerset, England. The business was established in 1963, and became a SKF subsidiary in 1988. The company specialises in the design and manufacture of high technology self-lubricated plain bearings for aerospace and industrial applications.
These bearings are used extensively in fixed wing and helicopter applications, primarily in the movement of flight control surfaces. In general industry, Clevedon sourced bearings are used in a wide range of applications particularly on advanced mass transit systems, high performance cars, fighting vehicles, marine equipment, valves and power generation equipment.
