Radial spherical plain bearings

Radial spherical plain bearings can accommodate a certain amount of axial load Fa in addition to the simultaneously acting radial load Fr (fig. 1). When the resultant load is constant in magnitude, the equivalent dynamic bearing load can be calculated using
