Single-line Injection Device
The wheel sensor in the track is counting wheels and is connected to the controller in the pump station. Once the desired number of wheels got counted, the pump starts running and feeds the injection devices with lubricant until reaching a certain pressure level.
Each SLID device meters the incoming lubricant and squirts a precise small amount of lubricant to the top of rail (TOR) or to the gauge corner.
In order to maintain a good squirting pattern over a large ambient temperature range, the SLID devices have integrated heaters. Up to 4 injectors can get managed by a single-track system.
