Airborne Ultrasound—Level II

Course content consists of advanced theory, data collection, inspection techniques, and reporting. This course fulfills training and testing requirements of Level II Certification. General, specific, and practical tests are given at the end of the course. Students are expected to pass with a composite score of 80% or higher.

Course objectives

Students successfully completing this course will be familiar with the scope and limitations of Airborne/Structure Borne Ultrasonic Inspection. They will be able to set up and calibrate equipment, interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, specifications, and organize and report inspection results.

Inspectors seeking to advance their knowledge in Airborne Ultrasound inspections. supervisors, energy auditors, and service company personnel who perform PDM, energy audits, or leak detection for their clients.
