Designations
The designations of SKF housings and associated components follow a system that consists of a basic designation with or without one or more prefixes and/or suffixes.
Designation systems, with examples, are provided for:
- Housings
- End covers
- Seal kits
- Oil level gauges and oil pick-up rings
- Oil cooling tubes
- Locating rings
