About the speaker:

Born 1952 in Germany, Dr. Bruno van den Heuvel is since 1990 Senior Manager Diagnostics and Services at the Mines Engineering Center of the RWE Power AG in Frechen. After his studies in mechanical engineering he started his career at Technical University in Aachen (RWTH) where he also received his PhD. Thereafter he was for many years Head of Department of Condition Monitoring, Dynamics and Vibration at MEC GmbH in Aachen. Dr. Bruno van den Heuvel is a senior expert in all aspects of machinery dynamics, measurement of mechanical quantities and condition monitoring, calculation and simulation of drive trains and materials testing. On top of that he is appointed lecturer at RWTH Aachen University, Faculty of Georesources and Materials Engineering as well as appointed lecturer at University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance and Maintenance Management.
