Typical shaft-bearing combinations
This arrangement is standard for housings in the SNL and SE 2 and 3 series, but can also be used for several housings in the SNL and SE 5 and 6 series. Housings, appropriate parts and dimensions are listed in the product tables for bearings on an adapter sleeve and for bearings on a cylindrical seat.
The bearing is located axially between a shaft shoulder and a spacer sleeve, which is held in place by another component on the shaft (fig. 2). The outside diameter of the sleeve must match the bore diameter of the seal. The spacer sleeve is not supplied by SKF.
