The MillerCoors brewery in Trenton, Ohio produces almost 400,000 cases of beer each day, so maintaining high operational efficiency is critical to the plant.  They can't afford to settle for fair results, so they are always seeking new technologies to support improved reliability.  SKF MARLINs were first implemented at the brewery to capture operational data from conveyors as part of the First Line of Defense (FLoD) program.  With tremendous initial success with the conveyors, the Trenton team has expanded their condition based maintenance program, including using MARLINs to support the stringent inspection and record keeping requirements of the FDA.
With over 25% of the maintenance workforce eligible for retirement next year, it is important to capture knowledge and embed it into technology to drive the brewery towards the future.  Joe Schoultheis from MillerCoors will discuss how to implement and adapt technology to meet ever increasing reliability requirements.
